Auto Runtz is a hybrid of the popular Skittles and Gelato strains. Skittles originated from a cross between Grape Ape and Grapefruit, while Gelato was bred from Sunset Sherbert and Thin Mint GSC. Its rise in the 2010s reflects the trend towards flavorful, potent hybrids.

Growth characteristics and yield

Auto Runtz is a simple, reliable strain that develops an extremely large number of trichomes on the leaves and flowers. We strongly recommend supporting the branches, as the dense buds can end up being too heavy for the branches. As with most good and stable genetics, Auto Runtz takes 90 days to harvest and can reach an impressive height of over 120cm. To bring out the full spectrum of aromas and flavors, it should be thoroughly rinsed a week before harvesting.
